Senior Service Technician (Lower North Island)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Compressed Air Controls Ltd is a market leader in industrial air compressor sales, servicing, and pneumatic automation. With over 32 years in business, our headquarters are in Palmerston North, with branches in Wellington and Hawke\u2019s Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We work across the Lower North Island with a wide range of industrial customers, industry leaders, and international supply partners. Through investment in our people, systems, and technology, we continue to grow our capability and strengthen the service we provide to our customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Due to continued growth across the region, we are looking for experienced Senior Service Technicians to join our service team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This role is not limited to one fixed branch location. We are interested in hearing from technicians based anywhere across the Lower North Island, including Wellington, K\u0101piti, Manawat\u016b, Palmerston North, Whanganui, Wairarapa, Hawke\u2019s Bay, and surrounding areas. The successful applicant may be based from the most practical location for them and the business, with travel across the wider service territory as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is a hands-on technical role responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of compressed air and pneumatic equipment across customer sites and our workshop network. While experience in compressors or pneumatics would be an advantage, we are also interested in hearing from experienced tradespeople and technicians from other relevant backgrounds, including mechanical maintenance, industrial diagnostics, fitting, electrical servicing, plant maintenance, automotive, hydraulics, refrigeration, or other technical service environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, working directly with customers, travelling across a regional customer base, and continuing to build their technical capability across a specialised and growing industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a Senior Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, maintenance, installation, and repair work across our product range. You will work both independently and as part of a wider service team, supporting customers across the Lower North Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Depending on your location, work may be allocated across Wellington, Manawatu\/Wanganui, Ruapehu Hawke\u2019s Bay, and other customer sites throughout the territory. This means the role requires flexibility, good planning, sound communication, and a willingness to travel where required to support customer needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are looking for someone with strong technical ability, good judgement, and a practical problem-solving mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You may already be working as a compressor technician, pneumatic technician, maintenance technician, mechanical technician, service technician, fitter, electrician, automotive technician, diagnostics technician, or in another trade-based technical role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You do not need to come from the compressed air industry to be considered.
